ANTIQUE (1874) "WINDSOR" CHAIRS FROM ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL - set/2
Antique Windsor chairs made in the Chilterns in 1847 by the form of Walter Skull to be used in St Paul's Cathedral in London, England and were eventually sold to raise funds for a restoration. These chairs could have possibly been used for such momentous events as Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill.
For comps, the only thing we can find is a sale listing one chair for $100 in 2015 for an auction gallery in Atlanta, GA.
THESE CHAIRS ARE SOLD AS A SET.
